1992
This year saw the beginning of an ongoing series of large charcoal drawings of images of woman. Two of the early large drawings, Large plait No 1 1992 and Focus 1992, were donated to the New Hall Art Collection. This collection was begun in 1986, when a selection of women artists were invited to donate work to this college of women students. The idea for the collection was triggered by a gift from Mary Kelly of her work Extase following her stay at New Hall as artist-in-residence at Kettle's Yard. The collection is available for viewing.
